DINOmite Comics

I had an interesting week. Comic-related: I managed to finish inking the two pages I started last week, and did some coloring.  Again, not a lot, but it’s something. =)  Not comic-related, I survived a crazy tornado-producing thunderstorm that made the power go out and produced some crazy rain.  Fortunately I was not working on any digital stuff when the power went out so I didn’t lose anything.  Which reminds me, I need to save up and buy one of those battery back-up/surge protectors for my computer.  That way even if the power goes out, I can still save my computer files I’m working on.

The crazy rain ended up pouring in through the office window, so in an attempt to save my physical art (which was below the window and next to the window.) I did the logical thing which was panic and freak out and stuff as many towels in the window as I could.  I am very proud to say that no pages were damaged, and I have since then done some work on sealing the outside of the window better and clean out the gutters (which may or may not have been part of the problem.)  Now I just have to nervously wait for the next rainstorm, to see if leaks again. XD
